This is amazing!

Hello wizards, witches and muggles!

Have you ever wanted to eat something that you saw in a movie or a TV show, but didn’t know how to make it? Well, that happens to me all the time, especially while watching the amazing feast at the Great Hall in Hogwarts. Because of that, and since I’m sure I’m not the only one, I wanted to give you some tips and tricks to make some of my favorite Harry Potter-inspired meals and desserts.

For example, ever wanted to drink a cold butterbeer on a hot summer day? Well, now you can! To make the perfect butterbeer, first chill cream soda in the fridge, then whip 1 cup of heavy cream, one tablespoon of powdered sugar, and one tablespoon of vanilla extract in a bowl until it thickens slightly. Now, pour the cream soda into cups, and top it with the whipped cream you just made. To finalize, just drizzle some butterscotch syrup, and then it’s ready to drink!

Fanfic Faves 🌟

This week, our favorite fanfics are going to be centered around one of our favorite ships: DRAMIONE!

  • Remain nameless by HeyJude19 - How did it feel? It felt like he was barely holding it together. She, of all people, should shun him. Or yell at him. Curse him. Spit at him. Take out her wand and blast him off the face of the earth. It was crushing guilt and relief and confusion all at once when he looked at Hermione Granger. The monotony of Draco’s daily routine had become both a lifeline and a noose. But this new habit of grabbing coffee with Hermione Granger is quickly becoming a reason to get out of bed and is unfortunately forcing him to re-evaluate his inconsequential existence. Hermione is living her life in fragments, separate pieces scattered about, and she can’t find a way to step back and let the full picture form. Why are morning meetings with Draco Malfoy the only thing that make sense anymore?

    • Tropes: Post-war, Slow Burn, Romance, HEA, Fluff and Angst, Friends to Lovers.

  • The Disappearances of Draco Malfoy by speechwriter - The night that Harry and Dumbledore return from the cave, the Death Eaters are delayed from reaching the top of the Astronomy Tower for one more minute. Draco Malfoy lowers his wand. A Deathly Hallows rewrite in which Draco accepts Dumbledore's offer to fake his death and go into hiding with the Order of the Phoenix.

The Weekly Pensieve 🤯

For this week’s pensive, we bring a fact that you may not know about that happened during the making of the Harry Potter movies:

During the filming of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, director Alfonso Cuarón asked the trio (Daniel, Emma, and Rupert) to write essays about their characters — in character.
Emma Watson (Hermione) turned in a 16-page essay, super detailed and passionate.
Daniel Radcliffe (Harry) wrote a normal-length one — solid, thoughtful.
Rupert Grint (Ron)... didn’t write anything.
When asked why, he said: “That’s exactly what Ron would do.”

Cuarón was so impressed by how perfectly in-character that was… he didn’t even punish him for it. Total Ron move.

Quiz of the week 🧐

This week, we are going to give a super hard question, that even the hardcore potterheads have trouble with:

What is the name of the goblin who takes Harry and Hagrid to their vaults during their first visit to Gringotts in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone?

Please reply to this email with your answer! And I will tell you if it is right or not.

✨ However, don’t fly off just yet!
