Hello wizards, witches and muggles!

This week the world woke up to more new about the new Harry Potter tv series! HBO told us firsthand that the new series is set to release early 2027, and production is set to begin in the summer of 2025! However, some of the set are already begin built.

Personally, I think this is a good sign that things are moving along, and you’ll see 2027 will be here in the blink of an eye!

This week, our favorite fanfics are going to be centered around the muggle AU trope!

The Weekly Pensieve 🤯

For this week’s pensive, we bring a fact that you may not know about that happened during the making of the Harry Potter movies:

In Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, the scenes filmed in the Hogwarts library at night were shot in the Duke Humfrey’s Library in Oxford — and the production crew swore it was haunted.

During night shoots, several crew members reported books falling off shelves on their own, cold spots, and even whispers when no one else was around. The area was so unsettling that some night crew refused to go in alone, and they eventually had to limit how many people were allowed inside at once because of how freaked out people were getting.

Some locals believe the library is haunted by scholars who were denied burial in consecrated ground — and the Harry Potter crew may have met them.
